Hammond Leagues

Our sports leagues focus on skill development, sportsmanship, and having fun.

While all athletic programs have a competitive component, our leagues focus more on learning the game and having fun.

All volunteer coaches have background checks done, and are expected to uphold the ideals of Boys & Girls Clubs.

All players are guaranteed adequate playing time, and a chance to try all positions.

Your child’s annual Club membership gives them access not only to our athletic leagues, but also to all of our year-round programming.

Registration now open through May 10, 2024

League runs May 22 – July 20

Cost is $85 per player and includes jersey, set of flags and mouth guard.

Age groups: 5-7; 8-10; 11-14

Games are held on Saturdays at Chesterton Middle School.

Registration: October 31 – December 23

League Runs: January 4 – March 17

Cost is $50 per member. Current Club membership required.

Biddy (6-7): Monday Practice; Monday Games

Juniors (8-10): Tuesday Practice; Wednesday Games

Seniors (11-14): Tuesday Practice; Thursday Games

Teens (15-18): Monday Practice; Friday Games

Skills Testing:

Biddy: December 12 at 5:00 p.m.

Juniors: December 13 at 5:00 p.m.

Seniors: December 14 at 5:00 p.m.

Teens: December 15 at 5:00 p.m.

Registration: Aug. 18 – Sept. 24

League Runs: Oct. 4 – Nov. 19

$40 per player

Juniors (8-10): Games on Wednesday; mandatory skills testing on Sept. 29 at 5 p.m.

Seniors (11-14): Games on Thursday; mandatory skills testing on Sept. 30 at 5 p.m.
