Keep the New School Feeling Going

During After-School Hours

The tradition of a Boys & Girls Club in the City of Hammond is a long-standing one!

First opening to the community at Miller Elementary School in Hammond’s Hessville neighborhood, the Club moved to a small building in Columbia Center when Hammond School Corporation re-claimed their elementary school. Columbia Center, too small to accommodate Club membership, prompted the building of the current Hammond Club on Calumet Avenue in 1993.

Today, our Hammond Club has the amazing opportunity of a $1.6 Million renovation to better serve the needs and out-of-school opportunities for Hammond youth. There is no time like the present! With the re-building of Hammond High School, sitting adjacent to the Club, and through the benefit of a generous donor – it is time to transform Hammond Boys & Girls Club creating a cohesive continuum of care campus for kids!
