After an open and honest discussion, we have made the difficult decision to cancel Derby Day 2020, scheduled for September 5th.

Following the new restrictions that Porter County has enacted due to the increased concerns about the COVID-19 virus, we felt this was for the best. We are very disappointed that we are unable to hold this event, but we know it’s the right decision based on the information we have today.

If you have already purchased a ticket for this year’s event, we will honor it at next year’s event. If you rather have a refund, please send us a message at info@bgcgreaternwi.org

Horses Landscape and Garden Center is hosting the 6th Annual Derby Day benefiting Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Northwest Indiana.

Partnering with the Clubs young professional group, PALS (Professional Advancing Local Success), guests enjoy food from local restaurants, games, beer garden and of course, watching the Kentucky Derby on several large screens.

A day of fashion and fun! Wear your best Derby hat and join our hat competition. Don’t have a hat? Purchase one made by a Club member!

Gather around and watch the best two minutes in sports on several large TV’s throughout the greenhouse. You’re sure to get a good view of the Run for the Roses.

A fun day for the whole family! Kids can enjoy games planned by the Clubs while parents relax and enjoy the event.

Sponsorship Packages

Sponsorship packages are available. Singe tickets are $40 purchase ahead, or $50 at the door.

Tickets include all you can eat BBQ, complimentary beer and wine.
