Professionals Advancing Local Success (PALS) is a network of emerging leaders dedicated to strengthening Northwest Indiana through service, mentorship, philanthropy, and community engagement.
Working alongside Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Northwest Indiana, PALS members invest their time, talents, and resources to help create brighter futures for local youth while developing meaningful professional and community connections.
What is PALS?
PALS is a group of young professionals who engage in local leadership opportunities while becoming the next generation of community philanthropists.
Through partnership with Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Northwest Indiana, members gain opportunities to:
- Develop leadership skills
- Build professional networks
- Mentor local youth
- Support community initiatives
- Participate in fundraising and philanthropic activities
- Make a lasting impact throughout Northwest Indiana
Supporting Future Leaders
One of PALS' most meaningful roles is supporting the Club's annual Youth of the Year program.
PALS members work directly with Youth of the Year candidates, helping them prepare for interviews, strengthen public speaking skills, develop speeches, and build confidence throughout the judging process.
Through mentorship and encouragement, PALS helps young people share their stories and prepare for future success.
Who Can Become a PALS Member?
PALS membership is composed of young professionals who are recognized as emerging leaders within their industries and communities.
Membership Criteria
- Ages 25–35 at the time of nomination
- Recognized as an up-and-coming professional leader
- Nominated by a current or former Board member, PALS member, or community leader
- Demonstrated commitment to community involvement and leadership
- Passionate about supporting youth and creating positive change
Membership Requirements
PALS members contribute an annual membership fee of:
$75 Annual Dues
These funds help support PALS initiatives and opportunities that benefit local youth and communities.
